Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for optimizing end‑to‑end logistics, inventory management and demand forecasting for De Beers’ operations in Namibia. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts in coordination with sales and production teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, recommend optimal reorder points and safety stock calculations.
• Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost‑effective transportation.
• Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Support the implementation of ERP and supply chain management software enhancements.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of proven experience in supply chain analysis, logistics planning or inventory management, preferably within the mining or commodities sector.

Salary
