Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and reporting on the flow of goods through Maersk’s inland network. This role supports the planning team by providing data‑driven insights, forecasting demand, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts such as inventory management, demand planning, and logistics optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP (e.g., SAP) and Transportation Management Systems.
  • Problem‑solving attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics planning, or a similar role within a multinational organization. Experience in the African logistics market is a plus.

Salary
