Job Overview
The Digital Content Strategist will lead the development and execution of innovative digital marketing campaigns to promote Namibia as a filming destination. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy to promote Namibia’s film industry.
- Create high-quality digital content, including blogs, videos, and infographics, tailored to target audiences.
- Manage and grow the Commission’s presence on social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Collaborate with filmmakers, tourism boards, and stakeholders to produce co-branded campaigns.
- Analyze web traffic, engagement metrics, and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics.
- Stay updated on emerging digital trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills
- Expertise in SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video production workflows and post-production editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Advanced certifications in digital marketing (Google Analytics, HubSpot) are a plus.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in digital content strategy, preferably within media, tourism, or creative industries. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale digital campaigns is essential.
Salary
150,000 – 250,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and performance.
