Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Windhoek, Namibia. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing geotechnical engineering services to our clients, including site investigations, soil and rock testing, and design of geotechnical structures. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and development of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations, including drilling and sampling of soil and rock
  • Analyze and interpret data from site investigations
  • Design geotechnical structures, such as foundations, tunnels, and slopes
  • Develop and implement geotechnical engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders on projects

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Education

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Candidates must have 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on site investigations, soil and rock testing, and design of geotechnical structures.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 50,000 – 80,000 per month.
