Job Overview
The Geospatial Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in transforming raw spatial data into actionable insights that guide exploration, resource estimation and environmental monitoring. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update GIS databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for cross‑functional teams.
- Perform satellite imagery interpretation and aerial photogrammetry to identify geological anomalies.
- Generate thematic maps, 3D terrain models and spatial dashboards that support exploration planning.
- Collaborate with geologists to integrate geophysical and geochemical data into comprehensive spatial analyses.
- Develop automated workflows using Python or R to streamline data processing and reporting.
- Provide technical support and training to field staff on GIS tools and data collection protocols.
- Assist in environmental impact assessments by mapping sensitive habitats and monitoring land‑use changes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS or similar platforms.
- Experience with remote sensing tools (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS) and satellite data sources.

Education
