Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Governance Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity governance policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of Nampower’s information systems and data. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity governance and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective cybersecurity policies and procedures.
The Cybersecurity Governance Specialist will work closely with the IT department to ensure that all cybersecurity policies and procedures are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cybersecurity governance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity governance
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education
