Job Overview
The Digital Forensic Investigator will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into cybersecurity incidents, analyzing digital evidence, and providing expert testimony in court. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, cybersecurity, and digital forensics, with a proven track record of success in investigating complex cybersecurity cases.
The ideal candidate will be a certified digital forensic examiner with experience in using various digital forensic tools and techniques. They will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into cybersecurity incidents, analyzing digital evidence and providing expert testimony in court.
- Use various digital forensic tools and techniques to analyze digital evidence and identify potential security threats.
- Develop and implement effective incident response plans to minimize the impact of cybersecurity incidents.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Provide training and guidance to other staff members on digital forensic techniques and best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certified digital forensic examiner (e.g. CCE, CFE, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
