Job Overview
The Marine Biologist will be responsible for leading our conservation efforts in the coastal waters of Namibia. This will involve conducting research, monitoring marine ecosystems, and developing conservation strategies to protect marine biodiversity. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine biology, excellent research and analytical skills, and experience working with stakeholders to achieve conservation goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on marine ecosystems and biodiversity in Namibia
- Develop and implement conservation strategies to protect marine biodiversity
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other NGOs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of conservation efforts
- Develop and manage budgets for conservation projects
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in marine biology or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in marine conservation
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with stakeholders to achieve conservation goals
Education
A Master’s degree in marine biology or a related field is required. A Ph.D. in marine biology or a related field is preferred.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in marine conservation is required. Experience working in Namibia or a similar context is preferred.
