The Water Resources Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, and management of water resources in the Omaruru area. This includes ensuring the sustainable use of water resources, managing water supply systems, and coordinating with stakeholders to address water-related issues.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in water resources management, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement water resources management plans and strategies
- Manage water supply systems, including water treatment plants and distribution networks
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, farmers, and local communities, to address water-related issues
- Monitor and analyze water resources data to inform decision-making
- Develop and manage budgets for water resources management projects
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Management, Hydrology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in water resources management
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
