Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geological Mapping Specialist to join our exploration team in Tsumeb, Namibia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading geological mapping and sampling programs, as well as providing technical expertise to support our exploration efforts.

The Geological Mapping Specialist will work closely with our team of geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and evaluate mineral deposits, and to develop and implement exploration strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geological mapping and sampling, as well as excellent technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geological mapping and sampling programs to identify and evaluate mineral deposits
- Provide technical expertise to support exploration efforts, including geological modeling and data analysis
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement exploration strategies
- Conduct fieldwork, including geological mapping and sampling, as required
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in geological mapping and sampling
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Strong background in geological modeling and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
