Job Overview

The Senior Wind Farm Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operational excellence of Enel Green Power’s wind farms in the Otjiwarongo region. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all wind turbine assets. This position plays a critical role in maximizing energy production, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring compliance with performance targets and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, predictive analytics, and corrective action plans.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians, engineers, and contractors, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as availability, capacity factor, and OPEX, and report findings to senior management.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure all operational permits and environmental compliance requirements are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement of spare parts and consumables.
  • Drive cost‑optimization initiatives while maintaining high reliability and production standards.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote renewable energy awareness and local employment.

Required Skills

Education

Experience

Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in wind farm operations, maintenance, or asset management, with at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role. Salary
