Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects from concept through commissioning. Reporting to the Head of Project Development, the role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects meet technical, financial, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams including engineers, procurement specialists, legal advisors, and external consultants.
  • Secure project financing and manage relationships with investors, development banks, and government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with NamPower’s standards, national regulations, and international best practices.
  • Oversee permitting processes, environmental impact assessments, and community engagement activities.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to senior management and board members.
