Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to join our team in Katima Mulilo, Namibia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our data centre, including managing the technical team, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre operations, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the data centre, including the technical team and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Develop and implement strategies to improve data centre efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other teams, including sales and marketing, to identify new business opportunities and drive growth

Required Skills

• Strong background in data centre operations, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of data centre infrastructure and IT service management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

8-12 years of experience in data centre operations, with a strong background in IT service management and technical infrastructure

Salary

NAD 60,000 – NAD 90,000 per annum
