Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Logistics Manager to lead our fulfillment operations in Walvis Bay. This role is critical to our mission of delivering excellence across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize warehouse workflows to increase order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Manage relationships with local and international third-party logistics providers.
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory management to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all Namibian customs and maritime regulations for imported goods.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse supervisors.
- Implement sustainable packaging and transport solutions to reduce carbon footprint.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping and maritime logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in English for stakeholder management.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as APICS or CIPS are highly advantageous for this role.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a high-volume e-commerce or retail environment. Salary
