Job Overview

The Learning Experience Designer will lead the creation of engaging, interactive, and accessible digital learning solutions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Reporting to the Director of Academic Services, the role involves collaborating with faculty, subject matter experts, and IT teams to design curricula that align with industry standards and UNAM’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement multimedia learning modules, assessments, and course materials using modern e‑learning authoring tools.
• Collaborate with faculty to translate academic content into engaging digital experiences that meet learning outcomes.
• Conduct needs analyses, learner profiling, and usability testing to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Maintain consistency with UNAM’s branding, accessibility standards, and instructional design frameworks.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in e‑learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
• Project management capabilities, including timeline creation, stakeholder coordination, and resource allocation.
• Creative problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Commitment to inclusive education and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).

Education

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ATD, CPLP) are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of proven experience designing and delivering online or blended learning solutions in higher education, corporate training, or a comparable environment. Experience working within a university setting or with accreditation bodies will be considered an advantage.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
