Job Overview
The Logistics Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end coordination of freight movements, warehouse operations, and distribution activities at the Swakopmund hub. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining high service standards for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely and cost‑effective transportation.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage relationships with carriers, customs agents, and local authorities to ensure compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment rates.
- Lead a team of supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Prepare operational reports and present insights to senior management.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly adhered to.

- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP TM, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCMP SCPro, or equivalent are advantageous.
Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience within a multinational logistics firm or exposure to port operations is highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 300,000 to SSP 450,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits suite.
