Job Overview

The Harbor Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day management of all harbor activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant movement of vessels, cargo, and personnel within the port premises. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the incumbent will coordinate with terminal operators, customs, shipping agents, and maritime authorities to optimize berth allocation, cargo handling, and vessel traffic services. This position plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, implementing best practices, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance NamPort’s competitiveness in the global shipping market. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel scheduling, berth assignment, and cargo loading/unloading processes.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

• Coordinate with customs, immigration, and security agencies to facilitate smooth port clearance.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

• Manage relationships with shipping lines, terminal operators, and logistics service providers.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
