Job Overview
The Hotel Operations Manager will lead all operational aspects of the Karasburg property, ensuring seamless service delivery, optimal financial performance, and adherence to Hilton’s brand standards. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee front‑desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance teams, driving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations across all hotel departments, ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulations.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost‑control measures to achieve profitability targets.
- Lead guest service initiatives, resolve escalated guest concerns, and maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment.
- Coordinate with the General Manager on strategic planning, marketing campaigns, and revenue‑generation activities.
- Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are rigorously applied and regularly audited.
- Implement sustainability programs, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and community outreach.
- Analyze operational data, generate reports, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities with a focus on team development.
- Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or equivalent are advantageous.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role within a full‑service hotel environment. Experience in a multinational hotel brand is preferred.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives, health benefits, and accommodation assistance where applicable.
