Job Overview
The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing World Vision’s corporate social responsibility strategy in Namibia. This will involve building relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders and community representatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate social responsibility principles and practices, as well as experience working with diverse stakeholders. They will be able to develop and implement effective strategies to promote World Vision’s brand and values, while also contributing to the organization’s overall mission and goals.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager will be based in Outjo, Namibia, and will report to the Country Director. They will be responsible for managing a team of staff and will be expected to travel frequently to different parts of the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement World Vision’s corporate social responsibility strategy in Namibia
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders and community representatives
- Promote World Vision’s brand and values through various marketing and communications channels
- Develop and manage budgets for corporate social responsibility initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of corporate social responsibility initiatives
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff on corporate social responsibility principles and practices
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, communications, social sciences)
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate social responsibility or a related field
- Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders and community representatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, communications, social sciences)
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in corporate social responsibility or a related field
