Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to join our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Nampower’s cybersecurity governance framework, ensuring the company’s information assets are protected from cyber threats.

The Cybersecurity Governance Specialist will work closely with the IT team to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Nampower’s cybersecurity governance framework
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cybersecurity threats
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, laws, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

5 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance
