Job Overview

The Environmental Sustainability Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental sustainability strategies and programs for our organization in Namibia. The main objective of this role is to ensure that our organization’s operations and programs are environmentally sustainable and contribute to the conservation of natural resources in Namibia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies and programs for our organization in Namibia
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation measures to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other organizations, to promote environmental sustainability and conservation
• Develop and manage budgets for environmental sustainability programs and projects
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental sustainability programs and projects

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in environmental conservation and sustainability
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
