Job Overview

The Environmental Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental sustainability strategies and programs that promote the conservation of natural resources and reduce the environmental impact of human activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental conservation and sustainability, with experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies and programs that promote the conservation of natural resources and reduce the environmental impact of human activities.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation measures to minimize the environmental impact of projects and activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and private sector companies, to promote environmental sustainability and conservation.
  • Manage projects and teams to achieve environmental sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets and reports to ensure effective use of resources and achievement of goals.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and sustainability.
  • Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
