Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Tsumeb, Namibia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geospatial analysis and intelligence, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Geospatial Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support decision-making and problem-solving. This will involve working with a range of data sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and other forms of geospatial data.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and will be able to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support decision-making and problem-solving
- Work with a range of data sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and other forms of geospatial data
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases and data systems
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate geospatial data into broader analytical efforts
- Communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills
- Strong background in geospatial analysis and intelligence
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in GIS software and programming languages such as Python and R
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as geography, computer science, or engineering.
Experience
5 years of experience in geospatial analysis and intelligence.
