Job Overview
The Hospitality Revenue Manager will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our Walvis Bay properties. This position involves analyzing market trends, monitoring competitor pricing, and implementing strategic pricing models to maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and overall profitability. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing departments to ensure our offerings align with market demand and seasonal fluctuations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize room rates and occupancy levels.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust pricing dynamically.
- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to identify new revenue streams and potential risks.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize group booking rates and seasonal packages.
- Manage distribution channels and ensure rate parity across all online and offline platforms.

- Advanced proficiency in revenue management software and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for complex data interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills to present financial reports to senior management.

- In-depth knowledge of the Namibian tourism market and regional trends.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications in Revenue Management are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or financial analysis within the hospitality industry. Proven track record of increasing profitability in a hotel setting is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 35,000 SSP to 55,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
