Job Overview
The Mining Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing mining operations at De Beers’ Swakopmund site. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mine plans that maximize ore recovery and minimize waste.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost‑benefit analyses for new mining projects.
- Monitor and control daily mining operations to ensure safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with geologists, metallurgists, and environmental specialists to integrate data into operational decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Namibian mining regulations and international best practices.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Education

Salary
The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary ranging from SSP 300,000 to SSP 500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based incentives.
