Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Farm Installation Manager to lead our installation activities for upcoming projects off the coast of Lüderitz. This role is critical to the successful deployment of our offshore wind turbines, ensuring they are installed safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all offshore installation activities, including foundation placement, turbine erection, and cable laying.
• Coordinate with marine contractors, vessel operators, and onshore support teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve installation targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the installation process.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for offshore operations.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including local authorities, community representatives, and environmental groups.
• Monitor weather conditions and make real-time decisions to optimize installation windows.
• Supervise and mentor a team of installation engineers and technicians.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in offshore wind farm installation or similar marine projects.
• Strong project management skills, with certification in PMP or equivalent being an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of marine logistics, vessel operations, and heavy lift procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions in a dynamic environment.

Education

Experience

Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore wind farm installation or marine construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in African maritime environments is preferred but not mandatory.
