Job Overview
The Renewable Energy Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects from concept through commissioning. Reporting to the Head of Project Development, the successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards. This role is pivotal in driving Enel Green Power Namibia’s mission to expand clean energy capacity and support the nation’s energy security goals. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets for wind and solar installations.
- Lead cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, legal and finance.
- Manage contracts, negotiate terms with vendors and ensure compliance with local permitting processes.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with government authorities, community stakeholders and utility partners to secure approvals and maintain positive relationships.
- Oversee quality assurance and health‑safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and external investors.
- Ensure that all project deliverables align with Enel Green Power’s sustainability and ESG standards.
Required Skills

Education

Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of proven experience managing renewable energy projects of at least 20 MW capacity, preferably within the Southern African region. Candidates with a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget will be prioritized.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 350,000 to 450,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, performance‑based bonuses and long‑term incentive schemes are available.
