Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Smart Grid Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Omaruru. This role is critical in safeguarding our smart grid infrastructure against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and reliability of energy distribution systems. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on smart grid systems.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols for energy infrastructure.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures into grid design.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real-time.
- Prepare detailed reports on security status and incident responses.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies in smart grid cybersecurity.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly preferred. Continuous learning and professional development are encouraged.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on energy systems or critical infrastructure. Proven track record in threat detection, incident response, and security architecture is essential.
