Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive carbon footprint assessments for clients across agriculture, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
• Develop customized carbon reduction strategies aligned with international standards (e.g., ISO 14064).
• Collaborate with local communities and industries to implement low-emission practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on Namibia’s climate policies and integrate them into project planning.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in carbon accounting software (e.g., Carbon Trust, EcoVadis).
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data interpretation and modeling.
• Knowledge of Namibian environmental regulations and climate action frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Climate Science or Sustainability Management preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in carbon footprint analysis or environmental consulting.
• Proven track record in delivering climate action projects in Southern Africa.

Salary

180,000 – 250,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
