As a Digital Asset Archivist, you will play a critical role in managing and preserving our digital assets, ensuring that they are accurately cataloged, stored, and made available for use. You will work closely with our team of archivists, curators, and technologists to develop and implement best practices for digital asset management.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for digital media and archiving. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital asset management principles, as well as excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
The Digital Asset Archivist will be responsible for managing and preserving our digital assets, including images, videos, and music. This will involve cataloging and metadata creation, as well as ensuring that all assets are accurately stored and backed up.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as they will be working closely with our team of archivists, curators, and technologists.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve digital assets, including images, videos, and music
- Create and maintain accurate metadata and cataloging information
- Ensure that all assets are accurately stored and backed up
- Collaborate with archivists, curators, and technologists to develop and implement best practices for digital asset management
- Provide technical support and training to staff on digital asset management systems and tools
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Archiving, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in digital asset management or a related field
- Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in digital asset management systems and tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
