Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and charismatic Hospitality Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our Keetmanshoop facility. This role is critical to ensuring that our operational standards align with Hilton’s global benchmarks. You will be responsible for managing diverse teams, optimizing guest satisfaction, and ensuring that every department—from housekeeping to food and beverage—operates at peak efficiency. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance administrative duties with hands-on floor management. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Manage and mentor departmental supervisors to maintain high service standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Implement rigorous health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all hotel departments.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement corrective actions to improve service quality.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal inventory and resource management.

Required Skills

  • Advanced leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in P&L management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to solve complex problems under high-pressure situations.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications in hospitality management are highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a luxury or mid-scale hotel environment.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 35,000 SSP to 55,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
