Job Overview

A fast-paced trade enablement company is seeking an experienced Invoicing / Debtors Clerk to support suppliers, retailers, and distribution partners through accurate invoicing and disciplined debtor management. This fully remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who can work independently, manage reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial processing within a lean operational environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) essential
  • 3–5 years’ experience in invoicing, debtors, or accounts receivable
  • Proven experience using Sage Cloud Accounting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting
  • Experience in wholesale, distribution, trade enablement, or FMCG environments advantageous
  • Strong invoicing and debtor control experience
  • Excellent reconciliation skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience handling delivery notes and proof of delivery documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices using Sage Cloud Accounting
  • Manage the full debtors function including statements, follow-ups, and collections
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Match invoices to delivery notes and proof of delivery documentation
  • Process credit notes according to approvals and internal controls
  • Maintain accurate customer account records
  • Perform debtor reconciliations and reporting using Excel
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoicing queries
  • Support month-end financial processes and administration
  • Ensure data accuracy across accounting and invoicing systems
