Job Description

Kontak Recruitment is hiring an Invoicing / Debtors Clerk for a fully remote role within a fast-paced trade enablement environment. This position is ideal for candidates seeking accounts receivable jobs in Namibia or remote finance clerk roles, where you will manage invoicing, debtor accounts, and collections while ensuring accuracy and financial control. The role supports suppliers, retailers, and distribution partners and requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices using Sage Cloud Accounting
  • Manage the full debtors function including statements, follow-ups, and collections
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Match invoices with delivery notes and proof of delivery documentation
  • Process credit notes in line with internal controls
  • Maintain accurate customer account records
  • Perform regular reconciliations and reporting using Microsoft Excel
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoicing and account queries
  • Support month-end processes and general finance administration
  • Ensure data accuracy across accounting systems

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) required
  • 3–5 years of experience in invoicing, debtors, or accounts receivable
  • Experience using Sage Cloud Accounting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and reconciliation
  • Background in wholesale, distribution, trade enablement, or FMCG (advantageous)
  • Strong reconciliation and financial accuracy skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position within a structured yet agile work environment that emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. The role involves limited client interaction and suits candidates who are self-motivated and organized.
