Job Overview

The Sustainable Agriculture Program Manager will lead Olam Namibia’s flagship sustainability initiatives aimed at improving crop yields, promoting soil health, and reducing environmental footprints across the northern regions of the country. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sustainable agriculture programs that address soil health, water conservation, and climate resilience.
• Collaborate with local farmer groups to introduce best‑practice agronomic techniques and provide hands‑on training.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce detailed impact reports for senior management.
• Secure funding and partnerships with international development agencies, NGOs, and private sector investors.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, including agronomists, extension officers, and supply‑chain specialists, to ensure seamless program delivery.
• Represent Olam Namibia at regional agricultural forums, workshops, and policy dialogues.
• Ensure compliance with national agricultural regulations and Olam’s internal sustainability standards.
• Prepare and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of sustainable farming practices, climate‑smart agriculture, and agronomy.
• Excellent project management abilities with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale programs.

Education

Experience

Salary
