Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Virtual Reality Experience Designer to join our team in Otavi. This role involves designing and developing cutting-edge VR applications for clients across education, tourism, and corporate training. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop virtual reality applications using Unity 3D and Unreal Engine.
  • Collaborate with 3D artists, software engineers, and client stakeholders to translate concepts into interactive experiences.
  • Conduct user testing and refine VR/AR applications for optimal performance and engagement.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in immersive technology and propose innovative solutions.
  • Document design processes and provide training to end-users.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, and 3D modeling tools (Blender, Maya).
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles for immersive environments.

  • Experience with VR hardware (Oculus, HTC Vive) and motion tracking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in VR/AR development are a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of professional experience in virtual reality design, with a portfolio showcasing interactive 3D projects.

Salary

45,000 – 65,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and project impact.
