Job Overview

The Network Optimization Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and fine‑tuning MTC’s radio access network to ensure optimal performance, coverage, and capacity. Reporting to the Head of Network Engineering, the incumbent will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze network data, conduct drive tests, and develop optimization strategies that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive RF planning, drive testing, and performance analysis to identify network bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement optimization plans for LTE and emerging 5G networks, focusing on coverage, capacity, and quality of service.
• Collaborate with radio, core, and IT teams to integrate optimization solutions and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for senior management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field technicians.
• Stay updated with industry standards, vendor technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in network performance tools (e.g., Atoll, Mentum, TEMS).
• In‑depth knowledge of LTE/5G architecture, RF principles, and radio planning concepts.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Project management experience and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Nokia NRS, or Huawei HCIP are advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in network optimization, RF planning, or performance engineering within a telecom environment. Experience with both 4G LTE and early‑stage 5G deployments is highly preferred.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based incentives.
