Job Overview

The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Pfizer’s portfolio of prescription medicines to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare institutions within the northern region, with a primary focus on the Oshikango border area. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, hospital procurement teams, and other key decision‑makers.
  • Deliver scientifically accurate product presentations, product demonstrations, and educational workshops.
  • Manage product inventory, sample distribution, and promotional material in compliance with local regulations.
  • Collect market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback to the regional sales manager.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales data into Pfizer’s CRM system.
  • Participate in regional conferences, medical symposia, and community health events to enhance brand visibility.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical mindset to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the northern region, including remote areas.

Education

Experience

Applicants should possess 3‑5 years of proven sales experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sector. Experience in the Namibian market, particularly in the northern regions, is highly desirable.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and performance. A performance‑based bonus structure is also available.
